For far too long the injustice perpetrated and covered up by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department have gone ignored.   Alongside community partners, we are submitting an official request to the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, asking for an investigation of the systemic patterns and practices that have violated the civil rights of communities of color in Kansas City, Kansas.
